WHERE THOUGHTFUL GUIDANCE MEETS LIFE'S MOST VULNERABLE AND TRANSFORMATIVE MOMENTS.

KEY AREAS OF FOCUS: Individuals & Relationships, Parenting, Perinatal & Postpartum Mental Health, Family Issues, Eldercare & Elder Caregiving, Transitions

Therapeutic change happens when clients feel genuinely supported and heard. My role as a clinician is to help you explore both new and long‑standing patterns of behaviour and thinking that may be limiting growth or creating a sense of being stuck.

My practice draws on extensive training and lived experience to support individuals, couples, and families as they navigate major life transitions. Whether you are preparing to welcome a child, adjusting to life as a new parent, moving through the shift to an empty nest, or transitioning into retirement, it is common to feel overwhelmed or caught in cycles that no longer serve you. I work collaboratively with clients to help them move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and the tools needed for the next phase of life.

My clinical approach is informed by my background as an Occupational Psychologist in the UK, where I developed a deep understanding of communication, relational dynamics, and how people adapt to change. My work is grounded in training and experience that supports a wide range of concerns, including grief and loss, fear and anxiety, depression, isolation, and the emotional impact of life transitions and trauma. My hope is to offer steady, compassionate support during some of life’s most vulnerable and transformative moments.

Modalities and Therapeutic Frameworks expressed are Emotionally Focused (EFT), The Gottman Method for Couples, Cognitive Behavioural (CBT), Wellness-focused and Systemic.

My journey as a Therputic Support Animal began this year when I joined SOLA Counselling as a furry intern. I provide a bridge between spoken therapy and a feeling of trust. By creating that connection, I assist clients to feel more at ease and foster a sense of safety in ‘the work’. Whether it’s a quiet cuddle during a tearful moment or a playful game to lighten the mood, I’m here to remind everyone that healing can come in many forms. I am a Havanese puppy and enjoy hours of bring close to those who need a cuddle or a moment to breathe. I am dedicated to creating a sense of unconditional love in session, where emotions might be difficult but more easily expressed.

I am training to master the the art of providing comfort and companionship to individuals who visit SOLA Counselling. Through positive reinforcement and interactive activities, I’m honing my skills to create a soothing and serene environment where clients can relax, open up, and find solace.

A TAIL OF UNCONDITIONAL LOVE

As a seasoned Therapeutic Support Animal, I have been dedicated to individuals facing emotional distress, offering them a warm presence and a furry shoulder to lean on. I’ve seen tears turn into smiles and heavy hearts become a little lighter, and it brings me immeasurable joy to be a part of their journey towards healing. My training and gentle demeanor remind SOLA’s clientele that they’re never alone. My soft fur and kind eyes have a way of soothing worries and bringing a sense of calm to even the most turbulent emotions. I’ve learned that sometimes, a wagging tail and a gentle cuddle have the greatest therapeutic impact.

More Than Just a Dog: I might be a Maltipoo, but I’m also a therapy dog with a heart that’s attuned to human emotions. Through years of practice, I’ve developed an uncanny ability to sense when someone needs a friend, a listener, or simply a companion. As the official therapy dog of SOLA Counselling, I’ve become a beloved fixture in the counseling sessions, offering a safe and welcoming environment where clients can open up without fear of judgment. With each person I meet, I remind them that healing is possible, and that sometimes, all it takes is a little furry friend to make the path a bit brighter.
